Sgt. La David Johnson was laid to rest over the weekend in Florida. The fallen Army sergeant was one of four U.S. service members killed during an ambush in Niger. Later in the week the soldier's widow, Myeshia Johnson, appeared on "Good Morning America" and said that President Trump's condolence call made her "cry even worse."
Other major headlines of the week included Sen. Jeff Flake announcing he would not seek re-election, Rose McGowan making her first public appearance since the sexual harassment allegations against Harvey Weinstein surfaced and Catalonia's parliament declaring independence from Spain.
