As the christening of Prince Louis fast approaches, royal fans are taking a look back at his mother, Kate Middleton's christening photos.

In an adorable post on Twitter, one user shared the intimate family snaps of the Middleton family. According to the post, the Duchess of Cambridge was christened on June 20, 1982, which just so happens to be the day before Prince William was born.

In the retro snaps, Kate can be seen wearing a gorgeous, white flowing christening gown, as various members of her family pose for photos. Knowing that Prince Louis' christening is merely days away now makes Kate's photos all the more special:

Prince William and Kate Middleton's third child, Prince Louis, is due to be christened on July 9, 2018. The baptism will take place at the Chapel Royal of St. James' Palace in London, which just so happens to reportedly be where Meghan Markle was baptized prior to her wedding to Prince Harry.

Speaking to the BBC on July 6, the Archbishop of Canterbury, who will conduct the christening revealed, "You know, if you're at the wedding don't drop the rings and if you're at the baptism don't drop the baby. They're a wonderful family, there's lots of love and it'll be a great occasion."

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, also married Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at their wedding last month, and called his forthcoming duty at Prince Louis' christening "very nerve wracking" but also "a great privilege."
