Pete Davidson Went on a SpongeBob-Themed Shopping Spree at Hot Topic
In what is quite possibly the most Staten Island thing ever, S.I.-native Pete Davidson was spotted at the Hot Topic in his local mall, balling out on SpongeBob SquarePants-themed clothing.
According to the Hot Topic store manager, the Saturday Night Live star picked up six SpongeBob t-shirts and three pairs of Hot Topic denim pants. Davidson stopped for a photo with two employees, where he can be seen wearing a tie-dye shirt, jogger pants, and fitted cap.

"Pete Davidson stopped in today and picked up some HT denim and some sick tees!" the store manager wrote. "Catya & Kyle caught a pic with him after helping him shop around a bit. Super cool dude! Thanks Pete!"
“Thanks for stopping by and helping us meet our goal in sales dude," Kyle the sales associate wrote in his caption. "Great talkin’ with ya."
The store manager didn't reveal how much Davidson spent, but the nine items are estimated to cost around $200.
Davidson has kept a low profile since ending his very public romance with actress Kate Beckinsale. The two were first reported to be dating in January and split after four months in April. According to People, Pete and Kate couldn't handle the long distance. "They’re still friendly, but it just didn’t work out," a source said. "They had been trying to make it work up until very recently, but it’s over now."
