Pete Davidson and Margaret Qualley Just Broke Up
This is a story about a girl named Lucky boy named Pete Davidson. As you might remember, Saturday Night Live’s resident sleazecore expert spent most of last year being in a whirlwind relationship with Ariana Grande. By which I mean they got engaged after five minutes and then promptly broke up in the messiest way possible. Pete rebounded with Kate Beckinsale and forced we the people to deal with countless photos of them making out in public places. Then, you may have heard, he moved on to greener relationship pastures.
Pete and Emmy-nominated actress Margaret Qualley (from Fosse/Verdon, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and The Leftovers) spent part of 2019 dating, and since Pete’s relationship history is best described as WHAT IS HAPPENING, we’ve put together a timeline to help you keep track of things.

People reports that Pete and Kate have broken up after four months of nonstop PDA. A source confirms they “are over” and that distance ultimately forced them apart. “It was the long distance,” the source mused. “They’re still friendly, but it just didn’t work out.”
For what it’s worth, another source added that “they had been trying to make it work up until very recently, but it’s over now.” Here, enjoy the memories:

Us Weekly breaks the news that Pete and Margaret are dating and that she’s super pumped about it. Per a source, “They’ve been seeing each other for a couple of months and Margaret is really excited about him.”
Also, now’s probably a good time for a quick review of Margaret’s relationship history, which—like Pete’s—is pretty wild! She previously dated (and performed alongside) actor Nat Wolff, and in May 2017, she was reportedly seeing director Cary Fukunaga, who happens to be 18 years older than her. So, like, we know she and Pete have at least one thing in common: massive age differences with their exes!

People reports that Pete and Margaret are “very flirty” while at the airport together, which makes sense because they’re dating, so. “They were on the same flight and seemed very happy,” a source says. “It was clear that they were together. They were very smiley and flirty. Some fans approached them and they happily signed autographs.”

Margaret’s mom, Andie MacDowell, spills to People that Margaret and Pete have “a beautiful relationship.”
Still, Andie says she hasn’t met the guy yet. “I FaceTimed with Pete the other day...or no, she took a video of me to send to Pete, that’s what it was,” Andie says.
“She has a beautiful relationship with him but I don’t want to step on her relationship too much,” she adds. “They have a nice relationship.”
