Perrie Edwards is fast becoming our favourite person to follow on Instagram. If she's not rocking up to her local supermarket wearing '90s space buns, or showing off her freckles in a gorgeous no-makeup selfie, she's giving us major hair inspo.

The singer became the newest member of The Fringe Gang recently, headed up by Ariana Grande and her curtained fringe and Taylor Swift's incredible bangs (which tend to alternate between curly and straight). Then, while pleading with fans on Instagram Stories to pick up a copy of the new Little Mix album, Confetti, she gave them a glimpse of her stunning natural curls.

But it turns out the singer is partial to more dramatic hair transformations, too. Perhaps she spotted Demi Lovato's shaved pixie cut? Or Vanessa Hudgens' jaw-grazing bob? Either way, she' gone for the chop, and her hair has never looked so short...

Her hair overhaul came in time for an appearance on the Jonathan Ross Show, and Perrie was quick to point out her inspiration. After posting two selfies of her new short hair with curled-up ends, she went on to share four more pictures: Sandra Dee (from the '70 film Grease), Jane Jetson (a character from '60s cartoon The Jetsons), Charlotte La Bouff (from 2009 Disney animation The Princess and the Frog), and a vintage image of a '40s housewife.

Perrie captioned the post: "My two personalities and some hair inspo 💇🏼♀️

Fans were all over the new look, with one commenting: "Barbie left the chat..." and another exclaiming: "A SERVE."

Petition for Perrie to play Sandra Dee in a new film version of Grease?
