Pepsi Has a New Pineapple Flavor That Gives a Tropical Upgrade to the Cola
Is it just us, or are pineapple-flavored foods especially prominent this summer? Between Snapple’s Pineapple of My Eye and Taco Bell’s Pineapple Freeze, we already have plenty of pineapple sips to try this season. Pepsi is giving us another one with its new pineapple soda.
A pineapple-flavored Pepsi first came out in Japan in 2019. So if you happened to had the chance to try those bottles, you can compare it the U.S. version. As described on the packaging, you can expect the soda to taste like Pepsi “with a splash of pineapple juice.” Think of it like a tropical twist on your cola!

Multiple Instagram accounts, including @theimpulsivebuy, have spotted the 12-ounce cans in an eight-pack at Walmart. It appears that the flavor might be exclusive to the retailer, so good thing there are Walmart locations across the country.
Just a little over a year ago, Pepsi introduced its Berry, Lime, and Mango flavors, which joined its Wild Cherry and Vanilla varieties. Again, is it just us, or does pineapple sound like the perfect flavor to join the lineup?
