People are *very* divided over Desi Perkins' home tour
There are few things we love quite as much as getting to nosy round celebrities' houses. From the giant condom packets on Kylie Jenner's walls to the fact that Kate and Will reportedly have an actual Ikea set in one of their lavish homes. Which is why people were so excited to get a peak into influencer and makeup artist Desi Perkins' California home, but it turns out fans were totally divided over the decor.
In a recent episode of Architectural Digest's Replace This Space Perkins had the living room of her home redecorated by designer Erick Garcia, and in a follow up YouTube video with the brand she showed fans around her newly redesigned living space.
Before getting to work on the refresh Perkins showed Garcia around the living room in the 'before' part of the transformation and it was here that people started to disagree...
One fan on Instagram called the space "blah", while others found it "impersonal" and another wrote, "Not really digging this aesthetic 😑," and others found the black and white colour scheme "boring".
However, others defended the decor, saying they appreciated her taste and that this is meant to be the before shot anyway.
"YES, it's basic but means so much to her... even if it's simple. Sometimes that's just people's vibe. not mine! But still, go Dezi," one commenter wrote.
Obviously, as pointed out, these are the before shots and looking at the after pictures Garcia made a pretty big impact with just a few changes.
