There's nothing an onscreen villain loves more than a good old-fashioned monologue, so there were thousands of submissions when Redditor u/N_the_character asked the pop culture enthusiasts of AskReddit, "What's the most badass villain quote?"

Ranging from surprisingly sympathetic to unspeakably cruel, here are 19 of the most memorable villain quotes from television and movies.
