People Really Love the Whole Foods Salad Bar

How many times have you visited the Whole Foods salad bar and ogled the organic quinoa and shredded kale, surreptitiously “sampling” a marinated mushroom here and a cherry tomato there? Once? Twice? Every single time you visit Whole Foods?

You are powerless against the salad bar. That’s our only explanation for why shoppers at a Los Angeles Whole Foods routinely overpaid for their their arugula-and-edamame-filled containers, and why the natural foods chain is now coughing up $800,000 to make up for it.

But we doubt that this snafu will put people off their precious Whole Foods salad bar. For proof, we submit the following salad-bar-crazed folk who just. Can’t. Get. Enough:
