If you've been living under a rock, or Vanderpump Rules isn't on your radar of reality tv shows, let me remind you of all of the chaos that has happened recently.
Vanderpump Rules premiered in 2013 with our favorite Beverly Hills housewife, Lisa Vanderpump, on the screen. The restauranteur and former housewife introduced an audience to a young, lively staff at SUR, the restaurant you take your "mistress" in Hollywood, according to Vanderpump.
The show delivered the best drama and some of the most corrupt and deceitful relationships, from Jax Tayor and Stassi Schroeder to Tom Sandoval and Kristen Doute.
But we can't forget the most problematic relationship: Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz.
Perhaps the problems in their relationship were overlooked because the group of friends had other problems of their own — and failed to realize that the two actually were toxic for each other.
Katie and Tom never should've gotten married in the first place, and if you rewatch the season, you'll see why. From his constant need to defend his best friend and business partner, Tom Sandoval, to her lashing out and sending brutal, angry texts regardless of the matter, these two were unfortunately doomed from the beginning.
Let's not forget Tom's sad excuse of explaining why he cheated on her multiple times saying he was drunk and so "shitfaced," or that he couldn't remember but knows for sure he didn't sleep with anyone, only made out.
After 12 years together and five years of marriage, Maloney decided to pull the plug on the relationship — and in the season premiere of Vanderpump Rules, we got our first foray into how it all went down.
