Paul Rudd proves how not nice he is by cursing us out, then trashing kittens and babies

In a recent interview with Elle, all-American nice guy/Ant-Man star/possible immortal Paul Rudd shook the very foundation of everything we hold near and dear by telling the magazine, “I’m probably not as nice as everybody might think.”

The quote made headlines everywhere, and it’s very possible that we all took it out of context (have you met the internet lately?).

So at the Los Angeles press junket for Ant-Man and the Wasp, we asked Rudd about the story.

“I’ve got something else: Why don’t you just go f*** yourself?” the actor shot back (watch above).

Clearly sensing a cry for help and desperate need to reinvent his good-guy persona, we showed the 49-year-old Midwest native photos of things that everybody loves to get a true read on how he views the world. The results were alarming:

On kittens: “They just make me sneeze and give me hives.”

On American treasure Betty White: “I don’t know who that is.”

On Raymond from Everybody Loves Raymond, who everybody loves: “Everybody but me.”

On Paul Rudd: “Milquetoast, vanilla, unthreatening, boring piece of s***.”

At least Rudd realized his mistake on the last one: “Oh, wait. No, he’s so nice.”

Ant-Man and the Wasp opens July 6. Watch the trailer:
