It's been a whopping four years since Pat McGrath first paired up with the Star Wars franchise to release a makeup collection. At the time, it was a six-piece collection for CoverGirl, inspired by iconic characters like C-3P0 and the Stormtroopers. Now, the iconic makeup artist is creating a Pat McGrath Labs x Star Wars collection, and this time, it's inspired by the new movie The Rise of Skywalker.
According to a press release sent to Allure, the collection includes four new lip shades and three totally new palettes.
The cinematically inspired lip shades include Lip Fetish Lip Balm in Flesh 3 (rosy nude), Clear (a Stormtrooper-inspired white), Nude, and Gold Astral (glittery beige). They all retail for $40. The palettes include a Star Wars-themed take on the Mothership IV: Decadence Eye Palette, which goes for $125, plus two six-pan palettes: Dark Galaxy palette and a Galactic Gold palette, which will set you back $65.
“We are so excited to work with Disney on this brilliant collaboration celebrating the intergalactic beauty of Star Wars: Episode IX–The Rise of Skywalker,” McGrath said in a statement regarding the collaboration. “The Star Wars characters have become integrated into our culture in such a major way that it’s hard to imagine a world without them! Anyone who follows me on social media knows I am obsessed with Star Wars and otherworldly galactic opulence, ranging from the rebellious beauty of Princess Leia to the gilded glamour of C3PO.”
Most of the collection will be available December 13, on McGrath's website, minus the palette you have to wait until December 26 for that one.
