Paris Jackson Makes It OK to Wear Forever 21
Many celebrities would never be caught dead in a budget brand like Forever 21, no matter how cute their latest line is. But Paris Jackson is a little more down-to-earth than that. The newly minted IMG model stepped out in New York City earlier this week proudly rocking a pink-and-ivory Forever 21 plaid shirtdress. The frock hits just below the knees, but the lace-up sides allow for it to be flowy and breezy, emitting her carefree vibe.
While many models out there would have dared to go bare with super-high side cuts (cough, Chrissy Teigen, cough), Jackson played it safe with a pair of gray skinny jeans and short brown Ugg boots. The blonde left the shirt opened and unbuttoned, revealing a pink cami tucked into her jeans underneath. She created a boho look with the addition of round purple sunglasses and a peace sign pendant necklace. A leather jacket gave the outfit a little edge.
Unlike many models, Jackson’s look is attainable, because the shirt is only $21.
We love Jackson’s style, so the fact that she’s wearing a top from Forever 21 just makes us feel better about the Forever 21 items hidden in the backs of our closets. She’s made it officially OK to wear the often hated-on brand.
And while she looks like a natural in this outfit, it’s a far cry from how we saw her last month at the Grammys. The 18-year-old wore an embellished wrap-effect stretch-knit Balmain jumpsuit and black-strapped heels, her platinum hair styled. This off-duty ensemble is a less glam look, but no less chic. So it’s safe to say we can rely on Michael Jackson’s daughter to deliver the best boho style.
