Paris Hilton’s Engagement Ring Is Likely the Biggest Diamond You’ve Ever Seen

That is no simple stone. Hotel heiress Paris Hiltongot engaged to boyfriend Chris Zylka over the holidays in Aspen, and his big surprise of a proposal was accompanied by a diamond worthy of any ice princess.

The Simple Life alum, 36, took to Instagram on Tuesday, January 2, to share a slideshow from Zylka’s outdoor proposal in the popular ski sanctuary. The final image shows the couple sharing a sweet smooch as the scion flashes her blindingly-big sparkler for the world to witness.

“I said Yas!” she expressed. “So happy & excited to be engaged to the love of my life. My best friend & soulmate. Perfect for me in every way. So dedicated, loyal, loving & kindhearted. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! You are my dream come true! Thank you for showing me that fairytales do exist.”

Hilton’s diamond is in the shape of a teardrop with the large center stone surrounded by a tiny halo of smaller diamonds. (Tiny, in this case, is completely relative.) The piece itself naturally became instant internet fodder.

The couple announced their engagement news to People on January 2. The two remained friends for years before their relationship turned romantic two years ago.

“I am so excited to be engaged to the love of my life and my best friend,” Hilton told the mag. “I have never felt so happy, safe and loved. He is perfect for me in every way and showed me that fairytales really do exist!”
