For adoring Lara Jean Covey and Peter Kavinsky fans everywhere, a brand new trailer for the anticipated sequel, To All The Boys: P.S I Still Love You, just dropped and showed us everything we’ve been missing out on since the couple last left our screens. (Hasn’t it been so lonely without them?) But, before we all jump for complete and utter joy, viewers might actually be in for a rough patch between the lovebirds—all thanks to an old crush named John Ambrose swooping back into LJ’s life.
In the trailer for P.S. I Still Love You, we see Lara Jean and Peter grow from the pretend couple we knew and loved to an even cuter real couple that we just keep rooting for. However, just as things between the two seem to be nothing short of perfect, LJ’s middle school crush John Ambrose from Model U.N. shows up with his signature Lara Jean love letter (and what appear to be some fresh feelings) in tow.
Lara Jean, meanwhile, seems torn between maintaining her current relationship with Peter and developing feelings for John at the same time. A true love triangle starts to unfold—leaving Lara Jean stuck in the middle and contemplating what exactly she should do, and who she should choose.
“I thought having a boyfriend meant the idea of boys left your mind completely,” she confesses in the trailer. “I didn’t want to be thinking of what might have been, but I was.”
Ever since the first installment debuted on Netflix, fans of the hit romance film have been eager to see what cuteness was in store for the couple as they navigate their way through their budding relationship. Set to debut on Netflix on February 12, the sequel might just have us rooting for a different couple altogether…
