The seventh season of Outlander premieres this week on Starz and on the Starz app, after a lengthy "droughtlander," the clever portmanteau fans use to refer to the break between new episodes. But if you've fully cut the cord, here's what you need to know about watching the time-traveling drama on Netflix.

Searching for early seasons of the series? You're in luck.

Outlander's first and second seasons premiered on Netflix in May 2019, with season three arriving on the streaming platform just a few months later, in December of the same year. And season four hit the streaming giant on January 27, 2021. Season five is now available too!

When will season six be on Netflix?

There has not been an official announcement about additional seasons of Outlander coming to Netflix. As the blog What's on Netflix previously pointed out, it's possible that the series is only available for licensing to Netflix two years after its original premiere date. (It should be noted that in some countries, Outlander is considered a Netflix original, but that's not the case in the U.S.)

Where can I watch the show in the meantime?

If you're desperate to catch up, all previous seasons are currently available to stream on Amazon for $8.99 per month, which pays for a Starz subscription (after a 7-day free trial). Or, individual episodes are available as well, if you'd prefer to pay as you go.

Additionally, the series is available to stream on Hulu as an add-on subscription for an additional $8.99 a month.
