The Oscars Gift Bags Are Wild and So Much $$$$$

The Oscars are going down this Sunday and gift bags are back in full force! And, um, this year's nominees will be getting gifts totaling $60k, which mostly seem to consist of luxurious vacations, casual.

According to Page Six, 2021's gift bags (which will be at The GBK Brand Bar at the Kimpton La Peer Hotel in West Hollywood) are offering the following. Ahem: a two-night trip to the private Raiwasa Resort in Fiji valued at $8,000, four nights at the Sailrock Resort in Turks & Caicos valued at $10,000 (only for Oscar nominees!), three nights at the Dominican Republic's Casa del Campo, valued at $3,000, and three nights at the Kahari Resort in the Bahamas.

As a reminder, The Oscars will air on ABC at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on April 25—with celeb arrivals starting at 3:30 p.m. PT/6:30 p.m. ET. Of course, the ceremony will look a lil different this year, in part because of the coronavirus pandemic, and in part becuase there's no host! As Deadline reports, “The upcoming Oscars will not have a single host and producers have made offers to talent they hope will come in to present the categories for the 93rd Oscar cast on April 25. The plan is for high-profile presenters to deal out the awards on a rotating basis.”
