Oreo’s New Salted Caramel Brownie Cookies Are Filled With Two Layers of Creme
Nabisco has really been ramping up the indulgence lately. From the three-layer Brookie-O cookies to the Java Chip variety made for coffee lovers, there certainly isn’t a short supply of types to try. There’s a new flavor on the horizon — and by horizon, we mean it’s really coming out this month — so prepare to snack on the Oreo Salted Caramel Brownie cookies!
The cookie flavor was inspired by the sweet and savory dessert. It starts with the classic chocolate Oreo cookies and is stuffed with two layers of creme, caramel- and brownie-flavored. What makes this cookie extra special is that it’s the first time Oreo has sprinkled salt on top of the chocolate wafers. After all, what good is a salted caramel brownie-inspired cookie without it?
As we mentioned, you don’t have to wait long to get your hands on the treat. The Oreo Salted Caramel Brownie cookies will be available beginning in July 2021, a PR rep confirmed to Best Products. They’re a limited-edition offering and available wherever Oreo is sold, while supplies last.
This isn’t the only flavor we have to look forward to. Oreo also announced that it’ll be getting a head start on fall next month with the release of limited-edition Apple Cider Donut cookies. So many cookies, so little time.
