Strawberry Frosted Donut Oreos Are Finally Hitting Store Shelves

From Delish

Update, March 5, 2021: Hello! Can you believe it's March? Can you believe it's Friday? Can you believe Strawberry Frosted Donut Oreos are already in stores? All of these things are, in fact, true!

Yes, Oreo has blessed us with this breakfast-inspired twist on a Golden Oreo that features a double layer of pink-colored, strawberry-flavored creme with rainbow sprinkles, and a donut-flavored creme. And you can get your hands on it right now! We've already spotted it online at Walmart for around $3.70, but if you keep your eyes peeled at other retailers, I'm sure you could find it elsewhere too.

But don't wait too long if you're excited to try this flavor! As with all delicious limited-time offerings, it will only be sticking around for, well, a limited time!

Original January 6, 2021: You've probably noticed Oreo has been VERY on its game lately with the limited-edition flavors. Brookie-O Oreos and Hazelnut Oreos began gracing our shelves recently, but ALREADY we have a new Oreo to be totally obsessed with and its name is Strawberry Frosted Donut.

That's right: Oreo is emulating a delicious, Homer Simpson-approved treat in its latest flavor and calling Strawberry Frosted Donut Oreos. They'll be made with vanilla cookies and will feature a double layer of pink-colored, strawberry-flavored creme with rainbow sprinkles, and a donut flavored creme. Yes, RAINBOW SPRINKLES (it even calls them glitter on the packaging!). I don't know what I want more, an Oreo-flavored donut or a donut-flavored Oreo! Luckily, we live in a world where I can have both!

These new Oreos are set to hit shelves in March, so that's plenty of time to build up anticipation for trying the new flavor...and plenty of time to go out and eat Oreo-flavored donuts, I guess! In the meantime, if you need some other treats to snack on, Oreo is set to release its gluten-free variety this month as well as the other chocolate-y flavors we mentioned above.

Once you do find this donut-y flavor, though, you should snap it up quickly, because it will only be available for a limited time...and just think about what OTHER things Oreo could announce by March. The possibilities are endless and as always, we can't wait to see what they dream up next!
