Oregon RB Cyrus Habibi-Likio expertly tackles rogue fan on field during timeout
Running out onto the field during a football game as a fan just isn’t a good idea.
Not only will it likely land you in jail for the night, but — as one fan at Autzen Stadium learned on Saturday night — it can result in you taking a massive, blindside hit from a Division-I athlete.
During a timeout in No. 13 Oregon’s 17-7 win against Cal on Saturday in Eugene, a fan sprinted out onto the field. While he made significant progress in eluding security personnel in his run across the field, he couldn’t escape Oregon running back Cyrus Habibi-Likio.
Habibi-Likio — while the fan started celebrating his feat — sprinted up from behind and drilled him in the back, taking him down to the ground until, presumably, security personnel could escort the fan off the field.

It may not have been Habibi-Likio’s best play of the night. He had a one-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, which put the Ducks up 10-7, and finished the night with 37 yards on nine carries.
The tackle was executed perfectly, though, undoubtedly an impressive accomplishment for any offensive player.
It’s probably a safe bet that the fan will be feeling that hit in the morning.
