Passing a train heading west in the Palm Springs/Indio area, there was a very long freight train, all flatbeds, hauling dozens of tanks, artillery, troop transports and a lot of other military heavy duty vehicles. And this was after I had already passed tanks on semis along Hwy. 95 prior to getting on I-10. In the decades I've driven this route, I've never seen this type of movement before.
