Whether it's lying under her favorite tree with the book she just can't put down or hosting special guests to connect over savory delights, Oprah has mastered the art of living her best life. For Saturdays with Oprah, the O of O invites readers inside her most blissful weekend moments.

Every other Saturday, Oprah indulges in a special self-care ritual: Getting a pedicure, courtesy of Gloria L. Williams, CEO of the pedicure product line Foot Nanny. Williams has been doing Oprah's nails for over 15 years, and in addition to becoming close friends, the nail technician also helps Oprah achieve what she calls "happy, calm feet!"

And Oprah has even given Williams a little business advice, too. After the CEO launched her footcare line, Oprah had a suggestion to kick things up a notch: Adding hemp extract (also known as CBD oil) to her foot cream. The result became one of Oprah's Favorite Things this year and is the key to making Oprah do her "calm and relaxed" happy feet dance.

And while Williams has been on hand to give Oprah her bi-weekly Saturday pedicure, she's also become an expert at executing the perfect manicure in almost any situation—even when the O of O is answering emails, responding to text messages...or just running out the door to an event.

One weekend, Williams had a particularly difficult challenge: Fixing three of Oprah's broken nails...in just 15 minutes, because the TV mogul was running very late.

But the Foot Nanny was up for the task. In a video Oprah shared with OprahMag.com, Williams calmly used a gel polish from CND to quickly retouch Oprah's manicure.

"I've got three broken nails here, and 10 minutes before I have to go into a conference," Oprah says. "That's a pretty amazing thing. 15 minutes...under pressure!"

If you don’t have a Foot Nanny of your own—and a lot of time to spare—Williams has a few tips of her own for executing a quick DIY manicure or pedicure job. And it all starts with having polishes that dry quickly in your collection.

"Use a fast drying base coat, a fast drying top coat like the one by Seche Vite, and pray to the polish gods," Williams says, laughing. "Doing thin layers of polish is essential."

Williams says Oprah is a huge fan of wearing simple, muted polish shades, and often likes to mix two different colors together.

"She loves nudes, because she doesn't like to bring attention to her hands or her feet," she says. "She's really big about the nails being neutral and she always says, 'The color polish you have determines your personality.'"
