Oprah Winfrey tells Amy Schumer about her failed attempt to seduce boyfriend Stedman Graham

Trust Amy Schumer to get Oprah Winfrey to open up about her sex life with longtime boyfriend Stedman Graham.

Last Saturday, Schumer joined Winfrey for the Charlotte, N.C. leg of her Oprah’s 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus tour, a series of wellness events sponsored by WW (Weight Watchers). During the frank conversation, Schumer opened up about mom guilt, undergoing IVF and egg retrieval in hopes of one day giving her infant son Gene a sibling and choosing to no longer step on a scale.

She also spoke of her marriage to chef Chris Fischer, sharing the heart-melting moment when, just three months into their relationship, he told her he couldn’t wait to have kids with her. On a less romantic note, she also joked about their sex life, from Fischer dismissing her dirty talk to role play as a coma patient.

“I’m the laziest person you’ll ever meet,” she cracked, according to Winfrey’s SuperSoul Conversations podcast. “If you’re married to someone and you’ve been with them forever ... you can’t really talk dirty anymore. It’s like, ‘Oh, I’m going to do this to you.’ He’s like, ‘No, you’re not.’ He knows.

The conversation prompted Winfrey to dish about her own relationship. The famed talk show host and companion Stedman Graham have been a couple since 1986 though, as Winfrey recently noted, never tied the knot because “if we had married, we would not be together.”

Winfrey told Schumer that she knew “exactly what you mean.”

“Stedman and I had been together about 10 years, and I had done some show and someone was talking about, you know, how to entice your man or something,” she shared. “And he comes home and I’m in this, like, black negligee thing on the stairs, and he literally walks by and says, ‘What are you doing?’”

The anecdote had the crowd roaring, while Schumer said it made her cry with laughter. Stedman’s loss, comedy’s gain, folks.
