The murder mystery comedy Only Murders In the Building was an instant hit. The series, which follows Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin as their characters try to solve a mysterious death in their Upper West Side apartment building, was the most-watched Hulu Original comedy on premiere day.

After finishing season one, viewers might be wondering whether or not they'll be able to return to the Arconia. Below, find everything you need to know about Only Murders In the Building season two.

Season two premieres June 28, 2022.

In a promo video filmed in an elevator, Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short joke around, before a title card announces the premiere date.

Then, in the first teaser trailer, Mabel says, "We will not be going quietly," hinting that whatever went down, they will be documenting it for their podcast.

In the second teaser, the trio proclaim their innocence as evidence keeps appearing in their apartments. "Someone's toying with us," Oliver (Martin Short) says, as they discover a bloody knife. "We need to find the real killer," Mabel (Selene Gomez) declares. Watch here:

Here's what to expect in terms of plot from season two of Only Murders in the Building:

Via Hulu: "Following the shocking death of Arconia Board President Bunny Folger, Charles, Oliver & Mabel race to unmask her killer. However, three (unfortunate) complications ensue—the trio is publicly implicated in Bunny's homicide, they are now the subjects of a competing podcast, and they have to deal with a bunch of New York neighbors who all think they committed murder."

Cara Delevingne and others joined the cast of season two.

An exciting new piece of casting news was unveiled on December 2, when Deadline broke the news that Cara Delevingne will be moving into the Arconia building in season two. She'll apparently play Alice, a "sophisticated art world insider who becomes enmeshed in the mystery."

Michael Rapaport also joined the cast, set to play Detective Kreps, a police detective involved in Bunny's murder case.

The main cast is all coming back for a second season.

Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez are all reprising their roles as Charles-Haden Savage, Oliver Putnam, and Mabel Mora, repsectively.

In September 2021, Hulu announced that the series would return for a season two. “Only Murders in the Building reflects the kind of creative excellence that is the hallmark of Hulu Originals,” said Craig Erwich, president, ABC Entertainment and Hulu Originals, upon the announcement. “Steve [Martin], [writer John Hoffman], and [producer Dan Fogelman] have created a uniquely captivating and entertaining series. The audience’s response to the delightful blend of mystery, humor and emotion in the show has been overwhelming and we can’t wait to follow this unlikely trio on their next adventure.”

Karey Burke, president of 20th Television, noted, "We are so happy to say there will be more murders in the building — which is great news for everyone, except perhaps the residents of the Arconia."

Series co-creator John Hoffman said, "I think you’ll see there are a lot of returning cast in Season 2, in ways that you won’t expect. Some are really funny and we get to develop [their storylines] a bit further, but they are grounded in reality. When you have these characters and a cast like this, we have to check in with them and keep them a part of our family. It’s really the sweetest thing.”
