One Direction's Twitter Account Just Followed Zayn Malik and Fans Think a Reunion is Coming
One Direction fans are celebrating after their official Twitter account seemed to follow a certain ex-member of the band.
According to Billboard, the official One Direction Twitter page, as well as Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan's personal accounts, have officially re-followed Zayn Malik on the app.
Fans have been hoping for a reunion ever since the band went on hiatus back in 2016. A year before, in 2015, Zayn Malik officially left the band to go solo and there has been some tension between the guys ever since.
For the past couple of years, the members of One Direction have hinted about a reunion, but with the current coronavirus pandemic, who knows if this will be possible this year. Still, fans seem excited about the whole idea and believe that it means that they plan to get back together soon.

The band will soon celebrate their 10th anniversary together since they formed the group during the seventh season of the British version of The X Factor. The guys came together in the bootcamp stage after they each were rejected on the show as soloists. One Direction ended up coming up in third place in the competition and rest was pretty much history.
While official details of a reunion have not been released yet, fans ended up getting #1DOnlineConcertStayAtHome as the number one trend in the United States after someone started a Mixlr page for the event.
