Ease of Use: 20/20
Remember the Kat Von D Good Apple foundation that went viral on TikTok earlier this year? Well, as someone who has very oily skin, the fresh, matted-faced reviews I kept seeing made me run to my local Sephora to buy it. Of course, it had been sold out for weeks at this point.
Luckily, one of the employees directed me to something even better: the FENTY Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint. Between us, she thinks this will be the next big thing (and let me tell you, it did not disappoint).
The tint has a lightweight to medium coverage that’s perfect before your next Zoom call—or you can easily layer it on if you want a bit more polish for a night out. I apply a few drops on my face using a stipple brush, but it goes on beautifully with just your fingertips as well.
Fenty is known for its expansive shade range and they deliver once again with over 20 different shades of this tint. For context, shade number 7 matched my skin perfectly.
Featuring a “Hydrablend complex,” (which is their fancy way of saying that this product has components that hydrate and have a blurring effect on your skin), it’s also humidity-, sweat- and transfer-resistant. I can personally attest to this claim, as I wore it while running errands in the heat and wearing a mask.
Best of all, the FENTY Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint costs less than $30 (which is a good deal if you consider how much some other foundations cost). If that’s not balling on a budget, while trying to have a hot girl summer I don’t know what is.
It’s the rare foundation that stayed put after running errands with a mask on, walking 20 blocks trying to get my steps in, and working for hours in an apartment with no AC—and it required zero touch-ups at the end of the day. As someone who has dedicated her share of time and money to find products that work for oily skin, I would say this one is a winner.
