It's quicker and easier than ever to make your own flavor-infused oil and butter, thanks to Levo. The Levo I—the original infuser—is easy to use thanks to its streamlined process. You set it up by inserting the stainless reservoir into the top of the machine, then add the magnetic stirrer. Once you've got it all together, you turn it on by pressing the power button on the touchscreen. Fill the herb pod with the ingredients you want to infuse (just about anything from basil and rosemary to vanilla and citrus will work!) and put it inside the reservoir, then add your butter or oil, and close the lid. Then, use the touchscreen to set the temperature and timer.
The temperature and infusion time depend on what you're infusing, whether you use butter or oil, and what type of oil you plan to use. For instance, you'll use a lower temperature for olive oil, but a higher one for avocado or sesame oil. Flower petals and leafy herbs like basil also take less time to infuse than, say, fresh garlic or herbs like rosemary. Levo even has a handy calculator on its website that lets you plug in what you're infusing and gives you a suggested time and temperature.
When your infusion is ready, you can dispense it into a container with the press of a button. All that's left to do is use it on the recipe of your choosing! Oh, and since the reservoir is dishwasher-safe, it's totally easy to clean up afterwards, too.
