An Ohio Taco Bell made headlines for a sign on its door that said its dining room would remain closed until its workers "can show up to work on time." Paula Duhon Boss posted a photo of the sign on Facebook after seeing it at a Taco Bell in Fairlawn, OH. It reads:

Dining room is closed until this store’s workers can show up to work on time! We will happily serve you through the drive-thru as quickly as possible. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience. Please bare with us until we find the right team to best serve our community.

Some people were confused and others were split on the message of the sign.

"Im dead to me this is hilarious," one person wrote.

"I wouldn’t say that’s the best way to address this situation... but ok," another wrote.

Boss spoke to Fox News about the situation and seemed to express similar sentiments, saying that she thought the sign was funny and that she has experienced bad service there but that "management had no right to say that about their staff to the public."

When asked about the sign, Taco Bell issued the following statement to Delish:

The posting of this sign should not have happened, and the team was immediately re-trained on proper protocol. We can confirm that the dining room reopened within an hour, and we apologize to our customers for any inconvenience.

A manager told Cleveland 19 that the dining room of the restaurant would open back up that day.
