Lori Loughlin’s kids, Bella and Olivia Giannulli, have been super quiet on Instagram since their parents’ college cheating scandal, which, reminder: involved them allegedly agreeing “to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team—despite the fact that they did not participate in crew—thereby facilitating their admission to USC.”

Bella hasn’t posted anything on Instagram since news of the cheating scandal hit, but she broke her silence to wish Lori a happy birthday.

Multiple outlets reported that the cheating scandal lead to tension between Lori and her daughters (like, wouldn’t you be upset if your mom’s alleged scamming ruined your education?), with a source telling ET that Bella’s sister, Olivia Jade, was having a superhard time.

“She’s cut herself off from her mother and is going out and partying a lot,” the source said. “She feels she hasn’t been a part of any wrongdoing and feels tricked by her parents into going to a school that wasn’t even her top choice. Right now, she wants to prove she can do it on her own, and she thinks going back to school will help renew her image.”

Unlike Bella, Olivia didn’t wish her mom a public happy birthday at first, but she did write “my people” on her sister’s post, which is something!

And the next day, Olivia posted a throwback pic with the caption, “one day late. happy birthday. i love you so much ❤️.” So, uh, guess there are no hard feelings!
