Oh No! Is Lauren going to get in-between Cory and Topanga again on “Girl Meets World”?

The year was 1998. The place, Mount Sun Lodge. The people, Cory, Topanga…and LAUREN.

If you grew up living and breathing Boy Meets World during your adolescence, YOU KNOW WHERE THIS IS GOING. Though Cory and Topanga are life-long soulmates, they did break up for a while following an ~incident~ with a lady named Lauren. Cory and Topanga went skiing for the weekend, but Cory sprained his ankle and couldn’t ski, and found himself in the ski lodge lobby with one of its employees, Lauren. Lauren and Cory got close, shared a kiss, and in 1998 IT WAS THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNEW IT.

OK, in all honestly, I got kinda emotional watching that scene.

Lauren didn’t last long, because Cory realized that he loved and needed Topanga, not Lauren, and it was a happy ending for our favorite couple.

Let’s move forward 20 years now, with Cory and Topanga happily married with a daughter named Riley (and a son named Auggie) and a new show called Girl Meets World. Over the weekend, Ben Savage shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the Girl Meets World set and it’s a picture of — omg, hold your hearts — Mount Sun Lodge.
