The OG Victoria's Secret Angels just reunited and it's making us nostalgic

You'd be forgiven for thinking you'd woken up this morning in 2015. The morning media circuit and social media feeds are dominated by photos of the Victoria's Secret event in New York last night and all the celebs who were in attendance posing on the pink carpet.

But it is in fact 2023. And, following a four-year hiatus of the once iconic lingerie brand's fashion show, it is set to return to our screens with The Victoria’s Secret World Tour premiering on Prime Video later this month.

In honour of the upcoming tour, OG Angels including Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge made sure to show their support and attend last night's event held in celebration. Talk about a trimple whammy!

And while their reunion in itself is noteworthy (and hella nostalgic), we *need* to talk about the stunning 'fits all three models showed up in.

First up, Adriana Lima.

Having been officially made an Angel in 1999, Adriana was a regular fixture in Victoria's Secret campaigns and walked the last show in 2018 alongside the likes of Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Barbara Palvin. She was even named "the most valuable Victoria's Secret Angel" in 2017.

Adriana looked stunning in her black fitted cocktail dress that featured a gold embellished panel down the centre of the design. The sweetheart neckline and belted waist added a vintage feel while her shoes were bang on trend, tapping into the current mesh footwear hype.

Lily Aldridge first donned her wings in 2010, and was an Angel until 2015. She opted for an edgier look in the form of a black double-breasted tailored overcoat with satin lapels worn over black narrow trousers. Ditching a shirt, Lily's black lace bra (surely a VS design) could just be glimpsed beneath her coat. Black patent court shoes completed the look.

Lily's beauty look consisting of a classic red lip and her hair centre-parted and pulled back into a sleek low bun added to the overall effect of a chic and polished look.

Candice Swanepoel also got the black and gold memo. Her black mini dress featured gold floral embroidery on the top half of the corset bustier as well as along the hem of the hoop skirt.

Becoming an Angel alongside Lily in 2010 and staying until the final show in 2018, Candice added black heeled pumps to her feet with a gold chain anklet worn on one ankle.

Ahh, reunited and it feels so good.
