  • On his new album Father of 4, Offset apologizes to Cardi B for his past cheating.

  • The two temporarily called it quits back in December, but they notably walked the Grammys red carpet together earlier this month, and he got up onstage with her when she accepted her Grammy.

Offset released his first truly solo album last night, and on it, he made a heartfelt apology to Cardi B for the cheating scandal that almost ruined their marriage.

The song "Don't Lose Me" is where it all goes down. He starts by apologizing for his past mistakes, rapping, "And I apologize, you know what I'm sayin'? Breaking your heart, breaking our promise, breaking God's promise, and being a, a, selfish and messed up husband, you know what I'm sayin'? I'm tryn- I'm tryna be a better person. I wanna get this off..."

Later in the song, he apologizes yet again, pleading with her to come home. "I'm sorry, let me come on home (Come home)/She said "Put down the styrofoam."

Now, it's unclear what he means by the styrofoam comment, but one my colleagues here at Cosmopolitan suggested that it might be a reference to takeout containers, and him eating too much food out of styrofoam. Interesting thought!

At the end of the song, he raps that his number one thing is loyalty, which is a little surprising considering past actions but hey, we'll let him have this one.

"Number one, it's a loyalty code (Number one)/Temptation, had the devil in my soul (Temptation)/I wanna be with you when we old (When we old)." "I'm a genie and I'm grantin' wishes (Genie)/Only for the Mrs. (Mrs.)."
