“Troop cat Ed” of the New South Wales Police Force caught some of the first rays of Spring sunshine while off-duty on September 1.
The cop cat was seen basking in the sun in this video shared to Facebook by NSW Police. Troop cat Ed was head of vermin patrol at the NSW Police Mounted Unit, based in the inner Sydney suburb of Redfern, and according to his colleagues took the job very seriously.
“He does not tolerate fools. He has been known to chase dogs around the mounted police complex. Big dogs,” officers previous told local media. Credit: New South Wales Police via Storyful
