This Is Not a Drill: Kanye West and Irina Shayk Are “Romantically Together,” According to New Reports
Today in news literally no one saw coming: Kanye West and Irina Shayk are maybe dating!?! I know, I know, this is truly alarming information, but according to TMZ, Kanye and Irina were spotted hanging out together in France on his 44th birthday yesterday (while Kim was at home wishing him a HBD on Twitter). This! Is! Not! A! Drill!
TMZ reports that Kanye and Irina “were seen smiling and strolling around on the grounds of a luxury boutique hotel with some friends but also by themselves…looking very much like a couple,” and the outlet confirmed that they are “100 percent romantically together,” although it’s unclear how serious their ’ship is. This report comes after gossip account @DeuxMoi posted a source/tipster on its Instagram that said, “Kanye West is now secretly dating Irina Shayk, aka Bradley Cooper’s baby mama.”
At the time, it was unverified tea—but @DeuxMoi itself noted that “after further looking into this, I don’t know if ‘dating’ is the right word, but there is perhaps some interest there.”
They also said “maybe they are just friends” but that “there was something that happened that made this person write ‘dating,’ but personally I don’t think they are dating. Maybe he is courting her.”
So…how do Kanye and Irina even know each other? For one, she starred in his music video for “Power” all the way back in 2010:
Irina also walked in Kanye’s fall/winter fashion show during Paris Fashion Week back in 2012, and as The Sun points out, she appeared to be subtly supporting Kanye by wearing a shirt he designed for Balenciaga last month.
FYI, both Kanye and Irina are coming off high-profile breakups (with Kim Kardashian and Bradley Cooper, respectively). Neither of them has commented publicly on these rumors and it’s doubtful they will considering they’re both pretty private, but, uh…stay tuned, I guess!
