You may need to sit down for this one, folks. Noah Centineo, who's most famous for his role in Netflix's original hit filmTo All the Boys I've Loved Before, just buzzed off his beloved curls, sending fans far and wide into a massive frenzy. The 23-year-old actor debuted his new look on his Instagram story on Tuesday afternoon — not addressing the fact that he got a major haircut but instead responding to his girlfriend, Alexis Ren, who asked where he was in her own IG story. How rude.
Folks got another look at Centineo's newly buzzed head in a story in which the actor shows himself, followed by his cat drinking from the kitchen sink faucet. In the clip, you can clearly see that Centineo's famed curls have been replaced with a fresh buzz cut, ultimately giving him a completely different aesthetic. Dude essentially went from surfer boy to skater boy overnight.
Now some might remember that this isn't the first time Centineo's spiced up his look. In September, for instance, he dyed his beard blonde, which no one saw coming. Needless to say, though, this is his most dramatic transformation to date.
As far as what fans are saying, myriad people have taken to Twitter to air their feelings. One user writes, "Noah Centineo shaved his head and I’m sorry but we need to start arresting boys who shave off their curly brown hair I’m not standing for this nonsense anymore," while another person offers, "Can’t believe we lost the beautiful hair of Joe Keery and Noah Centineo within the same year this is truly a tragic year for heartthrobs and their hair."
No one knows why Centineo decided to ditch his luscious curls in favor of a shaved head yet, but something tells us we'll find out soon enough. In the meantime, see what else fans are saying about his hair makeover in the tweets below.
