POPPY SHEN: Hey, guys it is December. So it's officially the holiday season. I want to bake some Christmas-themed treats. But I'm not much of a baker. The only thing I know how to bake is banana bread. So I found this super-easy recipe on TikTok but apparently doesn't even require an oven. So I'm going to try this recipe out in my own kitchen today and see how it goes.

First we melt butter in a saucepan. I'm adding marshmallows. Stir till they're melted. Add the green coloring to the desired shade and remove from heat. Now we add Rice Krispies cereal and evenly coat them. Let it cool for five minutes. Spread them into a coated tray. Decorate with sprinkles and chocolate chips. And cut them into large triangles to look like Christmas trees.

Ta-da, so here they are, the Christmas tree Rice Krispy treats. So cute. So let's talk about convenience. This whole recipe was actually extremely easy to follow. And I did not use an oven. The whole process probably only took 10 to 15 minutes. Overall, it was pretty easy, not super-complicated, a little bit tricky though.

Next up, presentation. I think they look pretty cute. They look like little Christmas trees. Cute. The only thing I would do a little bit differently was maybe add a little bit more of the green coloring because right now, these little trees look not super green. So overall, I think that looks pretty good.

Finally, we do the taste test. So excited. Mm, so good. So good. It feels like you're eating Rice Krispy treats but Christmas. This is so good, amazing. I love it.

So overall, I love, love, loved this recipe. You don't have to be a chef. You don't have to be a baker. You don't have to know how to do anything. And you can whip up this recipe pretty easily. Overall, I think it's an easy, quick, super-cute holiday-themed candy recipe. I highly recommend it.
