It's here! It's happening! After announcing that they were planning on releasing even more innovative products earlier this year, leading kitchen appliance brand, Ninja, has finally come out with its latest and most anticipated gadget yet: the Ninja Double Stack Air Fryer.

Featuring a space-saving design that doesn't compromise on capacity, it's 30% slimmer than Ninja's previous two-drawer air fryer model, making it perfect for those with little countertop space.

The revolutionary design means you can cook up to four layers of food simultaneously, using the removable cooking racks. Meanwhile, the large 9.5 litre capacity can feed up to eight people, and uses up to 55% less energy than a conventional oven.

It also comes with six versatile cooking functions (that we'll go into more detail on in a bit) and has dishwasher-safe parts so that cleaning up is a breeze.

Designed to tackle the ever-popular dilemma of not having enough worktop space, leading kitchen appliance brand, Ninja, has reimagined the classic two-drawer air fryer — this time 30% slimmer.

Why we rate it

To kick off the list of fantastic features this air fryer has, its space-saving design is what initially stands out. Not eating too much into kitchen countertop space — an issue we've long battled with when it comes to wanting appliances but not having anywhere to put them — this new model is a huge 30% slimmer than Ninja's Dual Zone Air Fryer, the very air fryer that sent the nation to a frenzy when it first launched, and ever since has proved unbelievably popular, selling out time and time again.

Rather than locating the cooking drawers side-by-side, the new Ninja Double Stack model sees them stacked on top of each other, taking up a lot less countertop space and it's designed just right, so that it'll fit snugly underneath your kitchen cupboards too.

Then there's the two clever cooking drawers, which can cook foods two different ways, in two independent cooking zones at once. But that's not all, you can now cook up a total of four types of foods in the new air fryer, simply by using the removable cooking racks, giving you ultra versatility.

With enough room to cook for up to eight people, this air fryer's 9.5 litre capacity certainly comes in handy for dinner parties, family meals and more. Put it this way, you can fit a whole 1.4kg roast chicken in each 4.75L drawer.

Refusing to stop there, it comes complete with six cooking functions: Air Fry, Roast, Bake, Dehydrate, Reheat and Max Crisp, and even claims to cook food up to 55% faster than when using a fan oven.

As for cleaning, it couldn't be easier. The non-stick drawers, crisper plates and wire racks are all dishwasher-safe, and the rest of the countertop gadget is wipe-clean friendly.

Key features:

  • 30% slimmer than previous dual zone air fryer

  • Large 9.5 litre capacity

  • Two independently controlled drawers

  • Cook up to four types of foods simultaneously by using the included cooking racks

  • Six cooking functions: Air Fry, Roast, Bake, Dehydrate, Reheat and Max Crisp.

  • Dishwasher-safe non-stick drawers, crisper plates and wire racks

  • 38.5cm tall to fit under kitchen cupboards

Hot off the press, this model is already flying off shelves at Very, and getting snapped up via John Lewis, so if you want a chance at cooking up a storm this summer and saving yourself some countertop space while doing so, then we suggest placing your order ASAP.

What the reviews say

Ninja has gifted the new air fryer to various shoppers to review ahead of launching. Here's what some had to say over on Ninja's website:

  • "This is an excellent air fryer. Having two ovens in vertical format it takes up less kitchen space and yet gives the flexibility to cook multiple items at once. I would thoroughly recommend this versatile air fryer."

  • "Simply AMAZING, I haven't used my oven since I got this. Its simplicity of use is fantastic, I’ve done roast chicken and veggies, I’ve baked bread and muffins. I honestly think my oven will be completely redundant. Being able to set the draws for different times temps and sync them is a game changer."

  • "Ever since Ninja showed off this air fryer at their event in February, I knew exactly where it would go in my tiny kitchen. It has all the features of their standard double compartment fryers and then some, without taking up up precious worktop space!"

  • "This is a great air fryer, I am moving house soon and will have a small kitchen so this will work really well with limited space. The two shelves in each drawer is such a good feature and means you can cook a whole meal with different components all in one. It’s also very easy to clean. I can tell that I will use this all the time now!"
