‘Nine Perfect Strangers’ Star Luke Evans Shows Off His Six-Pack Abs in Shirtless Photo

Luke Evans has not been resting on his laurels while on vacation in Colombia. The Welsh actor posted a "happy hump day" photo to Instagram today of himself waking in time to greet the sun. "Up for the sunrise, best time of the day!" He wrote in the caption for the image, which he shared from Girardot, near Bogotá.
Dressed in just a pair of shorts, early riser Evans had his muscular physique on full display, but that should come as no surprise to anybody who has been following him on social media for any time at all. Evans is an auteur when it comes to the social media thirst trap, and has been showing off his shredded six-pack abs in shirtless selfies on a semi-regular basis for the last year.
He's clearly been feeling himself as he continues his body transformation journey: during quarantine last year, Evans embarked on a challenge to lose fat, get lean, and build muscle, working out from home at first and then in gyms when they reopened in the United Kingdom. This was all in order to get those Gaston-level gains back: Evans, who is perhaps best known for playing the buff villain in Disney's live-action Beauty and the Beast remake, will be reprising the role in upcoming prequel series The Little Town alongside LeFou actor Josh Gad.
In the meantimes, he is currently starring in the Hulu satirical drama miniseries Nine Perfect Strangers, based on the novel by Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty. Evans plays Lars Lee, one of the titular nine characters who visit Tranquillum House, a wellness retreat run by the mysterious Masha (Nicole Kidman) where nothing is quite as it seems.
