Nina Dobrev and Shaun White Debut Epic 'Stranger Things' Couple Costume

They bring *that* iconic scene to life!
Things got a little strange for Nina Dobrev and Shaun White this Halloween.
The couple channeled an iconic scene (yes, that one) from Stranger Things as part of their 2022 costumes.
The snowboarding legend transformed into Max Mayfield (played by Sadie Sink), while the former Vampire Diaries star embraced the Upside Down villain plaguing Hawkins and Max's mind, Vecna.
The realistic costumes were elaborate, impressive, and even somewhat eerie.
Dobrev donned a Vecna mask and body suit, along with pointy stiletto nails, which "lifted" White up into the air.
White donned a red wig, Max’s signature blue zip up, and headphones. As Vecna took hold, his eyes began “bleeding” and his limbs began “cracking.”
One of the Instagram posts was set to the song Max listens to during the scene to break free from Vecna's grip—Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God).”
“stranger things have happened,” Dobrev captioned one of the posts. In another, showing off the intricate details of her costume, she joked, “i went for sexy this halloween.”
Fans were impressed with the looks, with one fan stating, “And the Oscar goes to… 😂”
“Vecnina” another joked, combining Vecna and Nina into one.
Another fan chimed in, asserting that White and Dobrev are “best and funniest couple.”
