Nikki & Brie Bella Reveal Which Sister Will Pick The "Weirder" Baby Name

Twins Nikki and Brie Bella couldn’t be closer — the identical twins have worked together for years as WWE stars and on their reality TV show, Total Bellas, they’re currently quarantining together with their significant others, and of course they’re both pregnant — their due dates are mere days apart! — and even sharing baby bump photos. So it makes sense that the two are already swapping ideas for their babies — and that includes the all-important baby names.

During a recent appearance on Peacock TV, the Bella twins played their version of the “sibling challenge” game, and answered questions posed to them by Nikki’s fiancé, Dancing With the Stars pro Artem Chigvintsev. “We’ve been together a lot for the last 36 years, but we’ve been together a LOT in quarantine,” Brie explained prior to the challenge, during which they answered questions like “who’s gone crazier in quarantine” (they each think the other has) and who has cooked the most (that was unequivocally Brie).

And when Chigvintsev asked “Who will give their baby the ‘weirder’ name?” there was no hesitation. “Definitely me,” Brie said. “I like weird.”

Of course, “weird” is relative when we’re talking about celebrity baby names, given your famous faves have something of a habit of picking unique names for their offspring. (We’re still not over X Æ A-12 Musk, and parents Grimes and Elon Musk seem to have different opinions when it comes to pronouncing the tot’s name.) But Brie’s track record with baby names is pretty good: Her adorable daughter Birdie, whom she shares with husband Daniel Bryan, just turned 3 — and who could object to a name like that?

For Nikki, however, this is baby number one — and while picking a name for your first child can be daunting, there are plenty of ways to find inspiration, including endless lists of names and all of their potential meanings. And even if you do experience baby name regret in the days or weeks after filling out the birth certificate, there’s an easy fix: Either change your little one’s name, or simply go by a middle name or nickname.
