  • Last week, Tyler Oakley called out TikTok stars after they attended a large party at the Hype House.

  • It looks like the Hype House may have hosted another party last night, despite the recent criticism.

I'm begging influencers. PLEASE stop throwing parties! We all are missing birthday celebrations, weddings, graduations, and more, but we are holding them over Zoom for the sake of the country. Many TikTok stars, though, continue to have heavily decorated events despite the rising cases in LA County.

On Tuesday night, the Hype House hosted a party for member Mia Hayward. Nikita Dragun seemed to take charge and hired a decorator for the party, going all out with a Candyland theme.

Unsurprisingly, Twitter was not happy about it.

"Nikita Dragun girl you HAVE a platform," one user wrote. "Use it for good & telling people to wear masks & stay home in quarantine & six feet apart when in public. Not for throwing a party and showing it off all on your instagram story during a world pandemic."

"Yikes not Nikita having ANOTHER party for Mia," wrote another.

While the decorations look adorable, the party comes literally days after Nikita, James, and more influencers got called out for throwing another big party. Last Tuesday night, Nikita hosted a bash at the Hype House for Larray's 22nd birthday. The next day, YouTuber Tyler Oakley took to Twitter to ask those who attended to please consider using their "huge platforms to encourage responsibility during a worldwide pandemic."

Larray and James have since apologized. James opted to not include footage of the party in his latest YouTube video, writing, "going to a party during a pandemic was a selfish & stupid decision."

Tana Mongeau, though, who attended Larray's birthday as well as Jake Paul's party earlier this month, posted an Instagram story while at another party this week saying, "we don't f*cking care, sorry." Many assume this was in response to the backlash.

This all comes as coronavirus cases in LA continue to rise. Between July 26th and 28th, the city reported 4,647 new cases and 66 new deaths. While it doesn't look like as many people attended Mia's party as Larray's, there were still some non-Hype House members there, meaning people who don't live in the house attended, including Nikita. Plus, the party was professionally decorated and from the looks of the decorations, many people had to come to the house to get that done.

Nikita has not responded to the backlash as of now.
