Nike Creates Amazing New Sneaker for Doctors and Nurses

An amazing new shoe for the men and women who do so much for us is on the way.

As Nike revealed on their website, the company is launching the Nike Air Zoom Pulse for nurses, doctors, home health providers, and other health-care workers who spend so much of their days on their feet serving their patients. The comfy shoe underwent product testing at OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland, Oregon to make sure the shoe supports health-care workers and their busy lifestyles that often keeps them on their feet for hours at a time.

"The shoe is easy to get on and off, and equally simple to clean. The fit, cushioning and traction systems work together to secure the foot in all hospital conditions," a post on the Nike Air Zoom Pulse reads in the official announcement. "One can think of the Air Zoom Pulse as almost a traditional clog made athletic — all the arch and posture support of that industry favorite is augmented in the Pulse, with a smooth capacity for natural motion," the post later explains.

According to news outlets, the shoes will hit the market in early December. While no suggested retail price has been shared yet, currently other shoes in the Nike Air Zoom line retail for around $85-$145.
