Nicole Scherzinger Motivates Us All in String Bikini

Nicole Scherzinger is spreading good vibes and a little inspiration this week. "It's Monday, It's a new week, God is doing a new thing, New doors, New breakdowns, New breakthroughs! New blessings, Prepare your mind, Open your heart, Enlarge your vision, Expand your horizons! Let's get it," she captioned an Instagram image of herself and boyfriend, Thom Evans, posing in their swimsuits on a picturesque beach. The 42-year-old has been very transparent about her ups and downs over the years, sharing her experiences and wisdom with fans. Read on for some of her best inspirational advice, and the photos that prove it works.

1 You Have to Rewire Your Brain

Prior to her Pussycat Doll years, Scherzinger fell into an eating disorder addiction that left her passed out on the floor "not taking care of herself. "We all have a choice," she told The Guardian in 2019. Scherzinger says firmly: "We can choose to beat ourselves up or go back to those old patterns, or we can choose to learn and grow and evolve and be like: 'I'm going to have to rewire my brain'." She saw more doctors and did therapy to conquer her demons, "but in the end it has to be yourself."

When it comes to online bullying, Scherzinger believes that it is an individual's responsibility to take care of himself and it is nobody's job to "baby" them. "It's like, they've already given you a platform; this overnight success that you're getting is what people have taken their whole lives to achieve, and some will never even get there," she said about some of the people on her show who experienced bullying. "It's not going to be a walk in the park. Anything that's worth having is going to take work. And it comes with it, unfortunately – we all deal with it." Her approach? "I just don't go on the friggin' internet!"

After losing her cousin in a tragic accident that left her mom in the hospital, Nicole's approach to life changed. "It really puts things in perspective. Guess what happens when you die?" she told The Guardian. "Nothing. Nothing else will ever happen to you, because you're dead. And that's a huge awakening, because that means you get one life."

"Work on yourself.""If you're not whole, then you will end up pulling from the relationship. So, it's always better when you have two solid people. The more whole you are the more you can bring something into the relationship; you're not just taking from it," she said during a 2021 press conference . "Use this time wisely to work on yourself, so you can give back in the most healthy way."

Nicole is all about goal setting. "There are a lot of distractions. There are a lot of things going in our phones alone. We should make a list of things we want to achieve," she said during the interview. "I have been reading the Bible, a lot of books. I have been doing more writing and coming up with vision board for myself. Take that time for yourself."
