It’s hard to remember a time when Nicole Kidman didn’t make a statement on the red carpet. The actor spiced up the step-and-repeat back in March, when she attended the Oscars with her husband, Keith Urban, in tow. As she kissed (with tongue) and flirted with her partner of over 16 years, all eyes were most certainly on her.

It was a case of déjà vu at the Country Music Awards in Texas on Thursday, but this time Kidman was Urban’s plus-one. Gazing lovingly into his eyes and clasping his hand, she showed off a fresh beauty look, complete with defined eyes and a rosy pink lip.

And we can’t forget her poker-straight hair. It was only a few weeks ago that she showed off her natural strawberry curls on Instagram, but for this event it was all about her bombshell Rapunzel-esque locks, which she tossed over her shoulder on the red carpet. The perfect partner to her red tweed Chanel trouser suit, Nicole Kidman proved she is as much a chameleon in the hair department as she is when it comes to wardrobe.
