Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Make Airport Style a Family Affair

After yesterday’s heated debate over whether girls should wear leggings at the airport, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban appear to be schooling their kids in the art of polished travel style. When the actress and crooner touched down in Sydney, Australia, earlier this morning, their two daughters sported cleverly layered looks that incorporated—but covered up—the activewear silhouette.
Sunday Rose, 8, shimmered in a ballet pink tulle frock offset by bright blue leggings underneath. Faith, 6, followed suit in an eyelet flutter-sleeve look layered over stretchy pants. In a nod to their dad’s country music roots, both chose matching denim vests and ankle boots with Western-inspired stud and fringe details. Kidman opted for an all-white palette topped with a wool trench coat—an ideal defense against frigid cabin temperatures. She extended that neutral shade to her pointed-toe flats, which came stitched with a whimsical floral embroidery. As for Urban, he laced into Adidas tennis shoes coupled with skinny jeans and a fitted henley that read dad-off-duty perfection. The parents also appeared to see eye to eye from an accessories standpoint: His aviators were a match for her oversize sunglasses, and both carried practical yet smart leather tote bags in lieu of the standard carry-on suitcase—just the thing for a first-class finish.
