Just as the debate over appropriate airport attire hit its peak, Nicole Kidman arrived at the airport in Sydney on Tuesday looking especially glamorous. The actress was joined by her two daughters and husband, Keith Urban. She wore a knee-length white dress and tan trench coat along with a pair of embellished flats and oversize sunglasses, looking very Grace Kelly–esque. In contrast, Urban opted for an all-black look in a T-shirt and sneakers.

Airports have become paparazzi hubs over the last decade, prompting some celebrities to dress especially well for the occasion. Like Kidman, Victoria Beckham often dresses up for traveling, high heels and all, and has even been given an award by British Airways for her efforts. Lady Gaga has been known to wear elaborate costumes when flying, ready to greet fans at her destination in the looks for which she has become known. Other celebrities, including Chrissy Teigen and Kim Kardashian West, have found ways to elevate the classic airport uniform of leggings and UGGs. They still maintain a level of comfort by wearing designer sweatsuits or oversize sweaters.

Teigen even addressed the recent controversy surrounding United’s decision to bar two young girls from boarding a flight because they were wearing leggings, noting her own relaxed approach. “I have flown united before with literally no pants on. Just a top as a dress,” she wrote on Twitter. “Next time I will wear only jeans and a scarf.”

No matter what celebrities wear at the airport, it’s hard to find a look as glamorous as Kidman’s.
