Nicki Minaj Drops Instantly Iconic "Barbie Dreams" Video Amid Feud with Cardi B
Nicki Minaj is so busy lately! Not only did she get into a brawl with Cardi B at the Harper's Bazaar ICONS party, she found time to destroy her rival on an episode of Queen Radio, and release the music video for "Barbie Dreams."
If you've listened to the song, you know that "Barbie Dreams" basically involves Nicki roasting the men in her life for a full five minutes-including Drake, DJ Khaled, 50 Cent, and Meek Mill. And most of them appear as muppets in the video. Because sure, why not.
Although "Barbie Dreams" could be considered a diss track thanks to lyrics like "And I would've had Odell Beckham banging the cake 'Til I saw him hopping out of cars dancing to Drake," but Nicki insists it's just for LOLs. "With 'Barbie Dreams,' you guys do know that is not a diss, right?" she said Beats1 radio. "You do know that the people I said on 'Barbie Dreams'… I said things about people who I know can take a joke and who I know can't be emotional with it."
