Nick Chubb and his Georgia teammates hilariously freak out during Disneyland ride

If you’re a football player hanging out in Pasadena, waiting for the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day, what would you do with your spare time?

If your answer is “Disneyland,” you’re on the same wavelength as members of the University of Georgia football team. Several of them decided to see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and the rest of the gang while they wait to face off against Oklahoma University in the Rose Bowl on Monday. Several of them were caught on camera on the “Guardians of the Galaxy” ride, and it might be one of the best videos of the year.

UGA running back Nick Chubb, who is seated at the right end of the front row, looks like he’s having the best time and the worst time all at once. He keeps holding on to the seat for dear life, and if you look at his face, you’d think he was on a roller coaster. Or a haunted house. Or a combination roller coaster/haunted house. Chubb looks excited, then scared, then relieved when it’s over, and then the cycle starts all over again. He’s going through a journey on that ride.

Chubb wasn’t the only one who couldn’t handle the ride, though. His teammate Roquan Smith was a few seats down from Chubb and he also looked like he was ready to pee his pants at any moment. Smith had someone to hold on to, though: Kirby Smart, the coach of the UGA Bulldogs, who was sitting next to him. He grabbed Smart’s arm at least three times while smart looked like he was having the time of his life. And if you look in the second row, you can see left tackle Isaiah Wynn clutching his chest, laughing, and shouting.

If those made you smile, Oklahoma players visited Disneyland, too. And they went on the very same ride…

Every single one of these reactions are thoroughly delightful. Just pure gold. And there’s really no better way for these players to de-stress before the big game on Monday.
