NHL injuries: Rangers' Kreider to undergo rib resection following blood clot scare

Less than two weeks after being removed from a Dec. 27 game against the Capitals and diagnosed with a blood clot in his right arm, Rangers winger Chris Kreider will undergo rib resect surgery, the team announced on Friday.
