Neymar scores, expertly trolls opposing fans who called him a crybaby (Video)
In a span of around 13 months, Neymar da Silva Santos Junior has become one of, if not the most hated soccer player on planet Earth.
First there was the big-money move to Barcelona. Then there were the World Cup antics. In between, there was plenty of clowning on overmatched Ligue 1 opponents, and much more.
All of it, to an extent, has obscured the fact that Neymar is a brilliant footballer. A lot of it is also unfair. So, when Neymar puts his brilliance on display for everyone who should be enjoying it? He has every right to have a go at the haters.
And that’s exactly what he did Saturday:

Neymar put PSG ahead at Nimes in the 36th minute. At some point before he did, he must have seen a banner in the front row behind the goal the Parisians were attacking. In French, it called him a “crybaby.”
So when Neymar scored, he went to find it, and posed in front of it, all while miming a baby rubbing his eyes.
Incredible. Savvy. Savage. That’s Neymar in a nutshell.
PSG actually blew a two-goal lead in the second half, but went on to win 4-2. This superb Kylian Mbappe goal was the winner:
